SEC launched a month long Investors Education Program in May, 2002 to educate the general public investors  about the capital market of the country. The program includes – About SEC, DSE and CSE, Investment in  Primary Market, Investment in Secondary Market, and Central Depository System (CDS). Altogether 111 participants in 5 batches took part in the program. SEC officials deliberated in the program.
