                                                              Dated the 12th May, 2002

No. SEC/CMRRCD/2001-14/Admin-03/5--In exercise of the power conferred by section 33 of the Securities and Exchange Ordinance, 1969 (XVII of 1969), the Securities and Exchange Commission makes the following further amendments in the Public Issue Rules, 1998, namely;

“In clause (8), sub-clause (a) under part ‘B’ of rule 7, the full stop (.) appearing at the end of the sentence at serial number (7) shall be replaced by a semi-colon (;), and thereafter the following new sentence with new serial number (8) shall be added, namely:-

 

‘(8) neither the company nor any of its sponsors or directors or associates is defaulter with any bank in terms of the CIB Report of the Bangladesh Bank.’.”
