Issuance of letter of intent to perform credit rating functions: The Commission has
issued letter of intent on 19/11/2001 to the first ever credit rating company
of Bangladesh, Credit Rating Information and Services Ltd. (CRISL), National
Scout Bhaban (7th Floor), 70/1, Inner Circular Road, Kakrail,
Dhaka. CRISL will get registration certificate upon fulfilling the terms and
conditions of the letter of intent.

Issuance of registration certificates to Authorized Representatives: During the quarter
October-December, 2001, the commission has issued registration certificates
to 342 and 83 Authorized Representatives of DSE and CSE respectively.
