During October-December 2001 the  following  brokerage  houses, issuer companies, merchant bank and individuals have been penalized or warned, or directives issued to them for reasons appearing against their names:
(A) Brokerage House: Penalty and/or License Suspension

Failure to comply with the provisions of Settlement of Stock Exchange Transactions Regulations, 1998, as amended.

Taka   one    lac     penalty  imposed earlier. Thereafter appeal rejected.

Karnaphuli Securities and Consultants Limited (CSE Membership No. 64)

Failure to comply with provisions of securities laws.

License cancelled earlier. Thereafter appeal rejected.
